Harvard woman has been identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as the victim of a fatal crash on I-90 that occurred on Tuesday.
Aimee Simmons, 51, was traveling eastbound on I-90 near the 66th mile marker in Schaumburg when the incident occurred. Authorities reported that at approximately 9 a.m., Simmons’ vehicle collided with a stopped semi-truck. The impact of the collision was severe, and Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene.
