A young and ambitious personal injury attorney from Staten Island, Edan Claude Darmon, has tragically died in a car accident.
Darmon, 29, was killed Wednesday in a one-car crash on his way to work near the Parkway interchange with Drumgoly Road west to New Jersey in Annadale. According to reports, his Ferrari crashed into a tree and burst into flames.
Authorities were called to the entrance to the Korean War Veterans Parkway at about 9:51 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash and Darmon was taken to Staten Island University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to his bio, Edan Darmon was a “young, aggressive personal injury attorney” who practices all professions. He received his Juris Doctorate Touro CollegeJacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center’s Honors Accelerated Program.

With the law firm of Robinson Yablon Cooper & Bonfante, he handles catastrophic personal injury, construction accident and motor vehicle cases. Responsibilities include negotiation and review of all aspects of the claim in case of failure to reach an agreement.
News of Darmon’s death shocked many of his friends, who shared tributes on social media.
“Rest in peace to my best friend Ed Claude Darmon… the sunshine of the Darmon family . I hope you are in a better place, you are an amazing person with a beautiful heart,“- read one of the tributes.
