Ahmed Ibrahim Cariif Obituary – The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was killed in Lakeville on Saturday morning as Ahmed Ibrahim Cariif, 22. He succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest, and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Law enforcement officers in Lakeville were called to the Amazon Fulfillment Center at 9800 217th Street West at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday in response to reports of an altercation. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away at the scene.
In connection with the incident, a 24-year-old man was apprehended near the victim, and a firearm was recovered from the scene.
