Adrienne Goodwin Obituary, – The deceased individual from the fire incident in Proctorville on Monday morning has been identified as Adrienne Goodwin, a 32-year-old resident of Proctorville. The Lawrence County Coroner’s Office, as reported on the Proctorville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Facebook page, confirmed that she was discovered in the residence on Stanely Street.
The cause of death was determined to be smoke inhalation, and there were no indications of any criminal activity involved. Additionally, it was noted that she faced mobility challenges due to ongoing health issues. The investigations by the Ohio Fire Marshal and the Lawrence County Coroner’s Office are currently in progress. Proctorville VFD’s Assistant Fire Chief, Gary Whitley Jr., mentioned that the emergency call was received shortly before 6 a.m. on Monday, and another occupant of the house managed to escape unharmed.
