Adrenne S Richardson Obituary, Death; – A man has been apprehended in relation to a deadly shooting that occurred in Aiken County on Sunday, as reported by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
Coroner Darryl Ables confirmed that 46-year-old Adrenne S. Richardson lost her life in the 500 block of Lawana Drive. Deputies arrived at the scene at 11:24 p.m., and Ables stated that Richardson was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m. due to a gunshot wound to the head. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday in Newberry, as indicated by Ables.
Zayvian Patrick Butler, a 20-year-old resident of Gloverville, was arrested on Monday, according to jail records. Upon arrival, deputies discovered multiple bullet holes in the front door of the residence. Witnesses informed deputies that Butler was armed and exhibiting suicidal tendencies.
Deputies reported that Butler allegedly discharged several rounds within the home. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and additional first responders were summoned to the location. After a period of crisis negotiations, officers stated that Butler exited the residence and surrendered without further incident.
The deceased victim was located in a bedroom, lying on the floor. The investigation is ongoing, being conducted by investigators and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office. Butler has been taken to the Aiken County Detention Center and is anticipated to face charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to the sheriff’s office.
