CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An accidental apartment fire near Uptown caused around $6,500 worth of damage, officials say.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 1700 block of Pegram Street.
The fire was controlled in 14 minutes. No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators say the fire originated in an electrical outlet in a 3rd-floor unit.
