A serious crash in Abbotsford on Tuesday has resulted in one person being hospitalized with serious injuries and another person with minor injuries.
The Abbotsford Police Department officers responded to the scene after two cars collided, causing one of the vehicles to veer off the road and end up in a ditch.
Constable Art Stele informed CityNews that the crash occurred just before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 11 and Harris Road.
Due to the severity of the incident, northbound lanes on Highway 11 between Clayburn Road and Harris Road have been closed to facilitate the police investigation.
Despite the road closure, the Mission Bridge remains accessible via Harris Road, allowing traffic to be diverted while authorities work at the scene. Further details about the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved have not yet been released as the investigation is ongoing.
