Abdulrahman Young Obituary, Death; – The identity of a man who perished in a vehicle fire in Evans City last month has been disclosed by the Butler County coroner’s office.
On Wednesday, Butler Deputy Coroner Korynne Young confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that 26-year-old Abdulrahman Young, a resident of Coraopolis, succumbed to thermal and inhalational injuries sustained during the incident on February 7. The fire was reported shortly before 5 p.m. at DuBrook Concrete, located at 600 S. Washington St. in Evans City.
The cause of death remains undetermined, as the specific circumstances leading to the injuries have not been established. In response to the incident, the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit, the Butler County coroner’s office, and the Evans City Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
State police have indicated that an investigation is ongoing, but they do not suspect any foul play.
