Dennis Derrer Death – A tremendous sense of loss has been left among our community as a result of the passing of Father Dennis Derrer, which occurred this past Friday night. Despite the fact that the reason for his passing is yet unknown, we take comfort in the fact that there is no suspicion of any kind of criminal activity. We will be able to say our goodbyes to Father Dennis with clarity and comprehension thanks to the autopsy that is currently being performed in order to bring about closure.
On the 5th of April, from 5 to 8 o’clock in the evening, we will be conducting a viewing at Mortensen’s in Mancelona in memory of Father Dennis. The chance to pay their condolences and reflect on the influence that Father Dennis had on their life will be provided to friends, family members, and members of the community during this commemorative event. All those who had the honor of knowing him will warmly remember his kind and gentle nature, his unyielding faith, and his unshakable commitment to servicing the needs of others.
For the purpose of commemorating Father Dennis’s life and legacy, we will get together at the New Hope Church at the Bellaire Theatre on Saturday, April 6th, at one o’clock in the afternoon. During this sorrowful occasion, we will come together to pay tribute to his memory, pray for the blessings that he brought into our lives, and find solace in the faith that we all share. Long after Father Dennis has left this earthly sphere, we will continue to be inspired by his dedication to spreading love, compassion, and generosity around the world.
In the immediate aftermath of the funeral service, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Bellaire Lanes. Reminiscing, telling stories, and commemorating the life of Father Dennis will be the activities that will take place during this happy get-together. The enormous influence that Father Dennis had on everyone of our lives will be celebrated, and we will find strength in each other’s company, despite the fact that we will be laughing and crying.
While we are getting ready to say goodbye to Father Dennis, let us not forget the memories we had with him and the lessons he taught us. It is possible that his physical presence is no longer with us; yet, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. And may the remembrance of him be a blessing to each and every one of us. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
