Karen Coleman Death – Sadly, Karen Coleman passed away on March 23, 2024, having been born on October 9, 1947. We are writing to let you know that our aunt, Karen Coleman, died away peacefully yesterday evening. Yesterday evening, she passed away. This news has left us with heavy hearts, but we are happy to be able to share it with you. In order to fulfill her obligation to provide assistance to us in the management of Whatcom County Weather and Randy Small Photography, she moved from California to the state of Washington in August of 2018. Between the years 2018 and December 9, 2023, she accurately predicted the weather for the subsequent five days, and she was only off by a few days. By utilizing the website of the National Weather Service, she was able to design her own templates, and she spent two hours per day putting them together.
We were lucky enough to be able to spend a number of hours with her over the course of this past week, and we continued to spend a significant amount of time with her right up until the very end of her life. During the last few hours of her life, she was surrounded by loved ones, including her son, her grandchild, her twin brother, her sister-in-law, and several of my siblings. She passed away peacefully within their presence.
We would want to provide a very special shout-out to those individuals who have sacrificed countless hours, hours of time, and money in order to provide assistance to Karen. We mean this in a very special way. Karen has received assistance from the following persons, all of whom are selfless, amazing, loving, and emotionally compassionate. We would like to convey to you that you went above and beyond to demonstrate to Karen that your love was not merely expressed through words but rather by those acts. Shellie – Shellie took care of Karen and our family as if we were your own family throughout the last two months of Karen’s life. She did this while she was in a position of caring for Karen. This nurse, Shellie, was so compassionate. It is very astonishing that you were so generous and selfless as to provide Karen with everything that she required. Not even the word “thank you” can adequately convey how much we value your assistance.
Jody and Todd are the Since around six years ago, Karen has been residing with Todd and Jody as her primary residence. The way in which they have treated Karen is akin to that of a member of their family, and they have bestowed a multitude of blessings upon both Karen and us. The level of attention and affection that you displayed was quite astounding.
As well as the Whatcom Hospice and the Peace Health Cancer Center Everyone here is aware of who they are and what remarkable individuals they are. You served Karen, and you did so with the awareness that she was the same person who authored the five-day prediction that you followed on this page. You did this with the knowing that she was the same person. Absolutely wonderful people to be around!
As a result of the large number of people that live in the vicinity, it is impossible to name all of the individuals who have had an influence on Karen’s life. You have a good understanding of who you are, and I am thankful to you.
On behalf of the Coleman and Small family, we would like to extend our appreciation to everyone who has provided us with comments, notes, SMS, prayed for us, and showed their love and support along this journey. Karen treasured her time spent in Whatcom County, in addition to feeling a deep affection for the people that are featured on this page. I thank you for being so kind! —! In the name of the house, I am Randy Small with you.
Karen has requested that I manufacture reproductions of this photograph for her apartment in a variety of different sizes and shapes. This particular photograph is Karen’s favorite one that I have ever taken a picture of.
