State police are investigating a serious crash on Interstate 395 in Griswold on Sunday.
The one-car collision was reported on the southbound side of the highway in the area of Exit 24 around 6:30 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.
State police said serious injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear how many individuals were involved.
The highway was shut down in the area of the collision, with traffic being diverted off of Exit 24. The highway later reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
