Death: Chad Schultz Obituary, Winona, Minnesota – Notification of Death, which was submitted by Chad Schultz Chicago-based investment banker Chad S. Schultz, who had been ill for a considerable amount of time, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday at his residence. He had been suffering from illness for a considerable amount of time. He was fifty years old at that point in time. In the course of his work at Credit Suisse First Boston, Mr. Schultz served in the capacities of Managing Director and Group Co-Head of the Private Fund Group. All of these roles were held simultaneously. It is generally agreed upon that this particular group is the most effective placement agent in the private equity investment fund sector that is now in existence.
He was appointed to the post of Managing Director, Founder, and Co-Head of the Private Fund Group at the headquarters of the company as a result of the merger that took place between CSFB and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in November of the year 2000. Over the course of his employment with the company, he also served as a member of the company’s Leadership Team. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch in Chicago as a Vice President, where he was responsible for the acquisition of institutional private equity for a variety of different investment partnerships. In this role, he was liable for the procurement of investment capital. After he left that financial organization in 1994, he joined DLJ and became a member of the organization.
Previously, Mr. Schultz had worked with Morgan Stanley for a period of six years, during which time he was a member of the Fixed Income and Financial Services Group. During this time, he had also been a member of the executive team. Before then, he had been employed by Morgan Stanley prior to that. The institution of higher education that he attended, Trinity College, awarded him a Bachelor of Arts degree. It was general knowledge that Mr. Schultz brought a great deal of vigor and passion to the many various themes that he was involved in. He was involved in an extensive range of activities. He was able to demonstrate his profound and unchanging love for music by demonstrating his proficiency at the piano as well as his extensive knowledge of both popular and classical music.
His excitement for music was something that he was able to share with other people. In addition to being a student of the arts and literature, Mr. Schultz also brought the same level of determination and intelligence that led him to achieve success in the business world to bear in these areas as well. It was in the sphere of literature that he achieved the most noteworthy accomplishment. His seamless familiarity with a wide variety of ethnic features was a contributing factor to the seductive attractiveness that he possessed as a result of this. His efforts culminated in the establishment of Bordigera Vineyards in 1999, which he used as the culmination of his passion in wine and which was the outcome of his efforts. When it came to the land, the vines, and the combination of these elements in the process of producing wine, he paid the customary amount of attention to detail that is required.
Bordigera Stables is just another illustration of the enthusiasm that Mr. Schultz brought to all of his achievements. It was founded as a result of the enthusiasm that Mr. Schultz’s daughters had for horses, which served as the drive for the establishment of Bordigera Stables. The following individuals are able to continue on the tradition that Mr. Schultz has left behind: his wife, Noreen McGuire Schultz; his daughters, Claire and Elizabeth Schultz, as well as Lauren Besser; his parents, Sigrid and Gerhard Schultz; and his sisters, Dawn Bandolik and Beth Walsh. On Monday, April 19, at ten o’clock in the morning, there will be a Memorial Service held at the Fourth Presbyterian Church, which is located close to the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Delaware Place. The service will be held in honor of the deceased.
