A man is accused of causing a disturbance outside of a Gales Ferry restaurant after he was asked not to return following an alleged altercation.
Joshua W. Taylor, 29, of Colchester is charged with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree trespass, according to the Ledyard Police Department.
Officers responded to Triple B Best Burgers & Brews, located at 1649 Route 12 in Gales Ferry, around 12:50 a.m. on Saturday for an active disturbance, police said.
Officers learned that Taylor allegedly got into a physical altercation and was escorted from the premises. According to police, he was told by the staff not to come back and was informed that he was banned from the business.
Staff and witnesses told officers Taylor allegedly came back 15 minutes later and stood outside cursing and screaming, police said. He allegedly again refused to leave until the police were called.
Taylor was located and detained. He was transported to Ledyard Police Department where he was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear at New London Superior Court on Dec. 18.
