Death Notice – It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the peaceful passing of Mr. Denny McCaleb, a respected member of the Fayette community. Mr. McCaleb, aged 78, departed this world on February 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of his wife and daughter at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Denny McCaleb will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Berea Church of Christ in Hubbertville. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
A graduate of Hubbertville High School in 1964, Mr. McCaleb dedicated 37 years of his life to Arvin Industries, where he served as a skilled tool and die maker. His commitment to his craft and his community left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Mr. Denny McCaleb is preceded in death by his parents, Edison and Nina Lou McCaleb, as well as his brothers, Kenneth “Roebuck” McCaleb and Larry “Rooster” McCaleb, and sisters, Nelda June Wright and Pamela Dozier. Surviving him are his wife of 53 years, Linda Thompson McCaleb; his daughter, Tiffany McCaleb; his sister, Joan Ramsey (Ronnie); and his brother, Tim McCaleb (Debbie).
These loved ones are left to cherish the memories of a life well-lived and the legacy of a man who touched the hearts of many.
