CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) — Great conditions tonight, with clear skies and temperatures falling into the 40s. Not as cold as last night!
We are going to be flipping the script over the next couple of days. Despite the cool start on Wednesday, which is the last day of winter. High temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 70s, with possibly a few lower 80s Wednesday afternoon.
We will be cooler for the first day of spring on Thursday, with a few shower chances during the first half of the day. Conditions will dry out for most by Thursday evening, but a few snow showers will develop in the mountains by Thursday night and Friday morning.
Not expecting much snow for the mountains, but higher elevations like Beech Mountain could receive between 1-2 inches of snow. A good way for the ski resorts to finish out the season.
A cold start to Friday, with temperatures falling into the 30s. Highs will rebound into the 60s by the afternoon on Friday.
Expect a nice weekend of weather. High temperatures in the 60s and low 70s, along with dry weather conditions.
