Anne Housden Obituary, Death – At the Holmesglen Private hospital in Moorabbin, Anne unfortunately passed away over the course of the last weekend. She had been facing serious health challenges, notably over the course of the preceding year, which ultimately led to her passing away. Her passing was a result of this.
Anne was a woman who was not only bright and cheerful but also friendly thanks to her outgoing personality. Additionally, she was a significant supporter of the Club, for which she was the First X1 scorer for a number of seasons during the 1980s. She was a member of the club’s roster. It was clear that she had a strong passion for the club. Glen, her spouse, was a fantastic Hampton clubman, a wonderful First XI player, and a member of the Team of the Decade in the 1970s.
He was also a member of the player of the decade. In addition to that, he was a player for the First XI roster. For a number of years during the 1970s, Glen’s father, Fred Housden, served as the renowned curator at Castlefield. He held this job for a number of years. In the years that followed, he also served as the curator at Boss James on a number of occasions. An outstanding link between the Club and the families of its members (the members’ families).
