Mariadelis Labrador Siles, Obituary, Death; – Mariadelis Labrador, aged 28, succumbed to a stab wound to the chest, as reported by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. The determination of her manner of death remains under investigation. She had been reported missing on Monday.
Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an inquiry to ascertain whether her death resulted from suicide or homicide. On Wednesday, investigators specializing in missing persons and homicide were searching a wooded area near an overpass at Braun Road and Mustang Ranch when they located the body. This body has been confirmed as that of Mariadelis Labrador Siles, the woman previously reported missing by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Salazar informed the media that the woman may have been experiencing a mental health crisis or personal difficulties. He noted that her family resides in Cuba, while she lived with her boyfriend. The sheriff indicated that the boyfriend is fully cooperating with the investigation.
A spokesperson for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office informed the San Antonio Express-News that investigators also found a shovel and a machete in proximity to the location of the body. Although they do not believe these items are related to the cause of death, the investigation is ongoing.
