Xavier Buggs,Eric Stanley Obituary, Death; – A man has been charged with murder in connection with the deadly shooting of two teenagers in Brunswick last month, as confirmed by officials on Tuesday.
Authorities reported that 24-year-old Kevin Bernard Pinkney Jr. was apprehended following a thorough investigation into the double homicide of 17-year-old Xavier Buggs and 19-year-old Eric Stanley.
The victims were discovered with gunshot wounds around 12:30 a.m. on February 17, 2025, in the 3200 block of Brailsford Avenue. They were transported to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Investigators indicated that the shooting occurred after a physical confrontation involving women, which escalated to the shooting of both teenagers.
Pinkney is facing multiple charges, including two counts of murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
