Holly Weimer,Matthew Weimer Obituary, Death; – Kansas City police are conducting an investigation following the discovery of two deceased individuals within a residence in the Northland on Tuesday.
Officers from the Kansas City Police Department received a call around 4 p.m. regarding a welfare check in the vicinity of NW 68th Street and N. Madison Avenue.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement was directed to a home where they found a man and a woman who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased have been identified as Holly Weimer, aged 44, and Matthew Weimer, aged 45. The police department has indicated that this incident is being treated as a murder-suicide. Investigators, along with crime scene personnel, are currently working to ascertain the circumstances that led to the shooting.
