Paula’s impact on those who knew her cannot be adequately put into words. Her kindness, infectious laughter, and radiant personality left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her unwavering faith in Jesus fueled her resilience, allowing her to face adversity with unwavering positivity and hope.
Paula’s passions included the Cubs, the Outer Banks, and the music of Jimmy Buffett, all of which had the power to bring smiles to those fortunate enough to share these favorites with her. Paula’s dedication to teaching and her involvement in the Science Olympiad at Neuqua Valley High School, where she also coached, were a source of immense pride.
Her colleagues at NVHS were like family, and her students held a special place in her heart. Her years of service with the Alliance for the Children reflected her caring and selfless nature, providing happiness to countless children. Above all, Paula cherished her family. Her role as a mother to Lynn and Bobby was her greatest joy. She offered unwavering support and love to ensure their well-being and success.
Paula adored her husband, children, and granddaughter, Jordan, as well as her parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who stood by her side. Paula’s courage, grace, passion, and boundless energy will be remembered forever. Her impact on those she touched will resonate through the ages.
A visitation will be held at Modell Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5th, from 4-9 pm, with a funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, October 6th, at 10:00 am, followed by a procession to Bronswood Cemetery. Attendees are encouraged to wear something that reminds them of Paula, celebrating her vibrant life and passions.
