He died on Monday 25th September 2023 leaving family, friends and colleagues in shock. He was confirmed dead through a post that reads ” It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Nashawn “Ox” Breedlove’s passing. The cause of his departure remains undetermined, and we are committed to providing updates as soon as they become available”.

Beyond his on-screen presence, Breedlove also made a mark in the world of rap music under the alias Ox, featuring on the soundtrack of the 2001 film “The Wash,” alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and DJ Pooh.
