Barry Phillips Obituary, Death – Those who have heard the news that one of our Life Members, Barry Phillips, has passed away are struck with a great lot of grief and are filled with a great degree of sorrow as a result. Before Barry left to pursue other interests, he was an indispensable member of our team for a significant portion of our existence as a business.
Before retiring to Loch Sport, where he was also actively involved in the operation of the Loch Sport Boat Club, Barry worked here for a significant number of years before he moved to pursue other interests. Before retiring, Barry was also actively involved in the running of the Loch Sport Boat Club. Barry has been a tremendous stalwart at LWYC, being involved in all elements of club life, from working bees to club renovations, committee member, leader of the Marlay Point Overnight Race committee during the race’s zenith, and Commodore from 1985-1990.
In addition, he has served as Commodore from 1985-1990. In addition to that, Barry held the position of Commodore during the years 1985 to 1990. A considerable length of time has passed since he first joined LWYC as a member. Barry was one of those men whom one could always trust to contribute to the club in the most beneficial way possible and promote the organization in the most favorable way imaginable. Everyone knew that they could rely on him to carry out this responsibility.
Because of this, he was valuable to the company, which was one of the many reasons why they placed such a high value on him. In addition, he had a good reputation in the community. During this difficult time, please accept my deepest condolences on behalf of Mr. Phillips and his whole family.
