Tippecanoe County officials were called around 8 a.m. Saturday to an apartment in the 100 block of Cochise Trail in Lafayette after two women were found dead. An autopsy was conducted on Monday morning and officials determined that both women died by homicide. Ross was reportedly shot one time while Shenett suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. Toxicology results are still pending.
An investigation into the women’s deaths has been launched by the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office and the Lafayette Police Department. No suspect information or further details have been provided as of 3 p.m. Monday.
