DeAndre Johnson Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost his life in a shooting incident outside a store on West Broad Street yesterday has been identified as 20-year-old De’Andre Johnson from Richmond. Richmond Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of West Broad Street shortly after 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Johnson lying on the ground with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, according to police reports.
Sources from Crime Insider informed CBS 6 on Sunday that a suspect is currently in custody, and the Major Crimes Unit of the police department is actively investigating the matter.
