Stephen Thompson Obituary, Death- We regret to inform you of the unexpected demise of a loved one, the identity of whom will be withheld awaiting communication from surviving family members. A terrible accident occurred on the southbound side of I-495 near Ritchie Marlboro Road in Prince George’s County, Maryland, in the morning.
This event changed the lives of everyone involved forever. One unfortunate soul was killed in a pedestrian accident in the wee hours of that day. The victim, whose identity is being kept until notification of next of kin, was killed in the early hours of the morning.
As a result of the severity of the collision, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of the emergency medical staff from the Prince George’s County Fire Department. The Crash Team of the Maryland State Police is working diligently to learn the details of this tragic tragedy. Initial evidence suggests a Mini Cooper manufactured between 2009 and 2014 was the striking car in this sad hit-and-run.
When this terrible accident occurred, the victim was crossing I-495 southbound in lane 3. It is assumed that the Mini Cooper’s right front end was severely damaged as a direct result of this tragic event. While we wait for the results of the current investigation and identification of the victim, we stand together in our grief over this tragic loss.
