Sharon Yates Obituary, Death- Sharon Yates was a well-loved friend and devoted fan, and it is with heaviness in our hearts and a deep sense of loss that we must inform you of her departure. The passage of Sharon, whose life was cut short, has left a hole in the lives of those who had the honor of knowing her and being touched by her.
She was a treasured part of the Swindon community and an unflinching fan of “Myself and the Wizards of Oz,” the world-famous Ozzy Osbourne tribute band. Sharon has been an indispensable contributor to our musical journey for the past 23 years, and she honored us with her participation at a great number of events held in Swindon.
Her undying devotion to our music was a demonstration of how much she cherished Ozzy Osbourne’s signature sounds. Each member of our band will miss Sharon tremendously, as her vivacious attitude and contagious passion could be felt in every note that we played, and her departure will be keenly felt by all of us.
During this trying time, we want Sharon’s family and friends to know that we are thinking of them and sending our condolences. Because of her loss, our lives will never be the same, and the memories we spent with her will remain dear to us for the rest of our lives.
Not only has the Wizards of Oz and the entirety of the Swindon music community lost a loyal fan, but they have also lost a beloved friend whose presence gave a one-of-a-kind and extraordinary spirit to every performance.
