Motorcycle passenger killed, rider injured in Cincinnati crash – Victim Identified as Catherine Duffy
Overnight, a motorcycle incident in Westwood claimed the life of a woman riding on the back and injured the rider.
According to Cincinnati police, at around 12:30 in the morning, a 24-year-old lost control while riding with a passenger on Westwood Northern close to McHenry. Both were thrown off the motorcycle when it collided with the curb.
The rider is likely to live after being transported to the hospital. They were both wearing helmets.
Police say excessive speed and impairment are being investigated as factors in the crash.
