Fatal Crash Investigation

Woodridge, IL (March 3, 2025) – At approximately 8:45 PM on March 2, 2025, the Woodridge Police Department and the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department responded to the 2400 block of Kildeer for a vehicle that had crashed into a residence.

Upon arrival, units discovered a vehicle had left the roadway (Janes Avenue) and struck the residence at 2400 Kildeer Street. The electric vehicle was fully involved in flames, as well as part of the home. Lisle-Woodridge FD was able to remove the vehicle from the home and extinguish the fire. It was discovered that the vehicle was occupied by two individuals, whom were pronounced deceased on scene.

The DuPage County Coroner was called to the scene, as well as the DuPage MERIT Major Crash Reconstruction Team. No injuries were sustained by residents of the home.

The investigation as to what caused the crash is currently under investigation. The Coroner’s Office is working to properly identified the deceased and notify the next of kin.
