Stephen Marciano Death – A North Haven man died following a deadly motorcycle accident that happened on Thursday night in Hamden. The victim has been identified as Stephen Marciano, a longtime resident of North Haven, Connecticut. According to reports, Stephen Marciano passed away from injuries sustained in the motorcycle crash.
How did the crash happen?
According to Sergeant Angela Vey, the police were called to the Hamden Fire Station (#3) located at 441 Hartford Turnpike on September 14 at approximately 10 p.m. on the report of a motor vehicle accident.
Stephen Marciano, 20, was operating the motorbike when it was involved in an accident, and Vey claimed that when the responding officers arrived, they found Marciano being treated for injuries.
Stephen Marciano’s cause of death
According to Vey, he was sent to Yale-New Haven Hospital with injuries that posed a significant risk to his life, and he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. It appears that the accident occurred on Hartford Turnpike close to Jackson Road.
“Members of the Hamden Police Accident Reconstruction Team, Major Crimes Unit, and Crime Scene Unit all responded to this location to initiate an investigation. At this time, it appears that while operating his motorcycle Northbound on Hartford Turnpike, Marciano left the roadway and collided with a utility pole.”
The investigation is active and ongoing.
