A person was killed after crashing into a pole in Bristol on Wednesday night.
Fire officials told NBC Connecticut a vehicle struck a pole on Broad Street around 9 p.m.
According to NBC Connecticut, officials said the driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital where they were pronounced dead. The person’s identity is unknown at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
