SILER CITY, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are searching for a missing 15-year-old in Siler City and the NC Center for Missing Persons has triggered an Amber Alert to help spread the word on Thursday.
Geydi Liseth Hernandez Fernandez, 15, is described as a Hispanic female standing approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing jean shorts and red shirt with a bear on it.

She has a Jordan Matthews High School laptop with her, according to the Amber Alert.
Anyone with information on where Fernandez might be is asked to call the Siler City Police Department immediately at (919) 742-5626.
This Amber Alert came just hours after an Amber Alert issued Wednesday morning for another 15-year-old girl was canceled. As previously reported, a search began in the Lillington area for 15-year-old Azalea Strifler after she told her mother she was getting her water bottle out of their car and didn’t return.
Strifler has since been found by authorities in Dare County, N.C. An update on this case is expected from the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office at 3 p.m. Thursday.
