Beatrice Desir Obituary, Death; – The Fayetteville Police Department is currently investigating a murder case following a reported triple stabbing that occurred on Friday morning.
At approximately 8:59 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Bellarthur Lane in response to a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, investigators discovered several victims with life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical personnel were summoned and confirmed that three individuals—two juveniles and a woman—were pronounced dead at the scene, as stated by Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden during a press briefing.
Authorities indicated that other witnesses present in the residence observed the events leading to this tragic incident. The deceased woman has been identified as 77-year-old Beatrice Desir, according to the Fayetteville police.
The police chief reported that one individual has been apprehended in connection with the stabbings. Mackendy Darbouze, a 26-year-old man, has been named as the suspect by law enforcement. He faces three counts of first-degree murder. Fayetteville police confirmed that Darbouze is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without the possibility of bond.
