Andrew Wynn Obituary, Death;- A 39-year-old man lost his life on Tuesday on the southbound lanes of Interstate 85 after being hit by an 18-wheeler, as reported by the Lexington Police Department.
Emergency responders arrived at approximately 3:45 a.m. at I-85 near Exit 91, which corresponds to the N.C. Highway 8/Cotton Grove exit, following a collision involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian.
City officials in Lexington have identified the deceased as Andrew Wynn, who was reportedly on the overpass of Cotton Grove Road before the incident occurred on the highway. Authorities suspect that the victim’s actions may have been intentional, and the driver of the truck has been charged with relevant violations.
