Tina Lees Obituary, Death- We mourn the passing of Tina, who has flown to the heavens. After a brave battle with cancer, Tina died quietly. Our Tina was a blessing beyond measure.
She was a lovely daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, aunt, and friend. Her influence on those who knew her was deep, and we will always remember her.
Tina, survived by her beloved husband Chris, leaves a legacy of love, courage, and elegance. She guided her son Daryl Foy and her lovely grandkids Dawson and Lexi Foy with unflinching love and devotion.
Tina influenced her stepchildren Cherie (Lees – Ethan & Emma Soroka), Tom (Evan Garrioch – Harlow & Tyson Lees), and Kurt (Cassandra Braaten – William Lees, Matthew Moore, Dawn & McKinley Braaten), creating relationships beyond bloodlines.
Tina’s parents, Tom and Loretta Leggatt, and her six younger sisters, Sharleen (Ron Willis – Sarah & Graham), Amy (Wes Hollingsworth – Cade & Reece), Lorelie (Brokenshire – Aquinna & Pake), Kerri (Mark Hirsch – Tatum), Nicole (Sanderson – Marina), and Susan (Rick Osborne – Delaina, Danica, & Daubrey), demonstrate Tina’s love and unity. Her sister-in-law Lorraine Lees, niece Nicole (Quan), and nephew Dwight (Jasmine) Lees, brother-in-law Duncan Lees, and nephew Dwight Lees treasure her memory.
Tina’s eternal peace brings her Granny Ethel, Grandpa Lloyd Leggatt, grandparents Adelard and Elizabeth Boire, and step-grandma Mag Boire. Her aunt Rosalie Reiter, parents-in-law Tom & Fern Lees, sister-in-law Lorna Lees, uncle Harvey, and Aunt Marie Lamar greets her.
A Memorial Service for Tina will be conducted at the Prairie Place Complex in Arcola, Saskatchewan, on September 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The service will be led by Michael Ellis. Tina’s remains will be buried in Arcola Cemetery after the service.
The Tina family invites friends and family to a Prairie Place luncheon to celebrate her life and share tales, memories, and love. Tina’s love, courage, and strength will always guide us. Her spirit lives on in everybody who knew her, even after she died.
