CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A minor has lost their life and another has been detained after a stabbing Tuesday night, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
On the evening of Feb. 11, deputies were called to a home on Russell Road in the Blackstock community, where they found a male juvenile stabbed. The minor was taken to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
Officials say another male juvenile was detained in connection with the stabbing. No charges have been announced.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is helping in the investigation. Authorities say there is no threat to the community.
