Kevin, the loving son of Robert and Shelby Todd McLellan, was born in Marion, SC. He spent many years at Sopakco, where he made lifelong friends and had a great career. His passions outside of work defined him, not his professional achievements. Kevin was happiest in nature.
He found peace and delight in the outdoors as an enthusiastic angler and hunter. Every catch and wildlife sighting lit up his face, demonstrating his connection to the world.
Besides loving nature, Kevin was a die-hard Clemson Tiger fan, which drew him closer to friends and family and sparked lively debates and enthusiasm. Kevin’s family brought him the most joy.
When with them, he exuded love. He enjoyed small gatherings and making memories with them. His unconditional affection left an unforgettable imprint on his loved ones. Kevin’s daughter, Amanda Blair McLellan, was his confidant and companion. Kelly Rice, his fiancé, supported and loved him during his terrible path. Karen Richardson and Lisa Skipper, Kevin’s sisters, were pillars of strength throughout his life.
Their wives, Darren Richardson and Ray Skipper helped the family through good times and bad. Kevin’s nieces and nephews, Brandi Lane, Kalli Dove, Chase Skipper, Taylor Skipper, and Cassidi Skipper, created a close-knit family tie beyond blood.
The many great-nieces and great-nephews who enriched his journey offered him immense joy. Let us remember Robert Kevin McLellan, Jr.’s strength, passion, and unshakable love as we say goodbye. We shall always remember his legacy to embrace nature, nurture family, and live life with the same vigor and excitement. Be at peace, Kevin. You will be missed but never forgotten.
