Ronald J Bjella Obituary, Death; – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a hit-and-run incident on Friday evening in the southwest area of the city. The victim has been identified as Ronald J. Bjella, a 61-year-old resident of Fort Wayne.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD), the collision occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Covington Road, close to the intersection with Getz Road.
Authorities reported that a man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. At that time, police were actively searching for the suspect involved in the incident, who is believed to have fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
