Jahly Braverock,Rachel Augare Obituary, Death; – Two individuals have lost their lives following a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 2 at the Blackfoot Cutoff, located east of Browning.
The incident occurred at mile marker 230.4 when a 25-year-old woman from Browning, driving a Chevrolet Silverado, attempted to overtake a snowplow and another vehicle while traveling westward.
The driver, identified by the Glacier County Sheriff’s Office as Jahly Braverock, veered into the eastbound lanes, resulting in a head-on collision with a Ford Explorer. After the impact, Braverock’s vehicle swerved back into the westbound lanes before veering off the right side of the road.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, identified as 41-year-old Rachel Augare from Browning, was partially ejected from her vehicle. Tragically, both Braverock and Augare were pronounced dead at the scene. The Glacier County Sheriff’s Office shared this information on their Facebook page.
