Harold McGhee Arrested;- Three individuals are facing legal charges following an incident at a WeGo bus station on Tuesday, as detailed in arrest affidavits.
According to police reports, around 9 p.m., a man approached officers at the downtown Nashville WeGo bus station located on Dr. Martin Luther Jr. Boulevard, claiming he had just been robbed by three assailants.
The victim recounted that after disembarking from a bus and exiting the station, he was attacked, forcefully pushed to the ground, and subjected to repeated punches and kicks by the trio. The affidavits indicate that during the assault, his phone and earbuds fell from his pocket, which the three men subsequently took before fleeing the scene.
Shortly thereafter, the victim encountered the trio again and requested the return of his phone, explaining its necessity for his employment. In response, one of the suspects, identified as 33-year-old Mario Ealy, allegedly struck him in the face.
Following this confrontation, the victim located two police officers and reported the incident. The officers subsequently apprehended one of the suspects, 34-year-old Danzeil Davon Mason, who was found in possession of the victim’s phone.
Later, the other two suspects, Ealy and 45-year-old Harold McGhee, were also identified and arrested. All three individuals are charged with robbery and acting in concert.
