Jekobi Douglas Obituary, Death; – A shooting incident over the weekend in Montgomery resulted in the death of a teenager and left another man injured.
Emergency services were dispatched at 8:26 p.m. on Saturday following reports of two individuals being shot in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard. According to Sgt. Tina McGriff, 17-year-old Jekobi Douglas was declared deceased at the scene.
The second victim was transported to a medical facility with injuries that are considered life-threatening. Information regarding the circumstances of the shooting remains undisclosed, and no arrests have been made at this time.
