Anderson Gutirres Obituary, Death; – A teenager tragically lost his life on Sunday due to an ATV accident in Alabaster.
Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans has identified the deceased as 14-year-old Anderson Gutirres. The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on May View Court, where authorities reported that the young operator of the ATV lost control of the vehicle.
Upon arrival, Alabaster police and medical personnel found Anderson unconscious and in the process of receiving CPR. He was swiftly transported to Shelby Baptist Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Another juvenile was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Chief Curtis Rigney expressed his condolences, stating, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of tragedy. We are also praying for the community, officers, paramedics, and others involved in this unfortunate incident.”
The investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
