CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The man accused of shooting and killing a 19-year-old Wendy’s employee in north Charlotte has been sentenced to at least 16 years in prison, according to court documents.
On Jan. 23, 21-year-old Christopher Franks was sentenced to 16 years -20 years, 4 months for 2nd-degree murder.
Around 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, officers responded to the Wendy’s in the 3700 block of West W.T. Harris Blvd. where 19-year-old J’Karri Marquise Anderson was found with an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers said the deadly incident originated inside Wendy’s and involved two employees.
