KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Kannapolis Police say they are investigating the tragic death of a 7-year-old child.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, on Cabarrus Arms Drive. Officers arrived to find a 7-year-old girl shot. She passed away before she could be taken to a hospital.
Police say the girl was accidentally shot by a sibling, and the incident is under investigation.
