(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Thursday starts the second half of the work week with cold and frigid conditions as lows have dipped into the upper teens around the Queen City and into the single digits for our mountain counties.
Winds are relatively light this morning and will flow out of the west between 3 and 8 miles per hour as skies hold on to a mix of sun & clouds this afternoon. Look for highs to peak well below normal, only hitting the upper 30s in uptown and upper 20s to low 30s in our mountain counties.
Clouds will dissipate tonight with another cold evening on tap. Lows will bottom out in the low 20s and teens as we finish off the work week on Friday before we slowly warm up heading into the weekend.
Friday will hit the low 40s with mid-40s on tap for Saturday. The 50s will return on Sunday to finish the weekend as clouds build heading into early next week. Monday brings a low rain chance with mid to upper 50s taking hold by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
Today: Cold with a Mix of Sun & Clouds. High: 39.
Tonight: Partly Cloudy & Frigid. Low: 21.
