GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Fire crews are battling a large fire in Gastonia amid bitterly cold temperatures and following snow in the area.
Officials first reported the incident just before 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Gastonia Police say East Ozark Avenue is closed near the water tower.
On Wednesday morning a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect. Gastonia was one of several areas that saw snow overnight.
