Kevon Javell Nuby Obituary, Death; – A man from Reading lost his life early Sunday morning after his vehicle veered off the road in Camp Washington, colliding with a fire hydrant.
Kevon Javell Nuby, aged 24, was traveling north on Spring Grove Avenue, near Hopple Street, at approximately 6:24 a.m. when he left the roadway, impacting both a fire hydrant and a utility pole situated at a bend in the road, as reported by the Cincinnati police.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed Nuby’s identity as the driver in a report released on Tuesday morning. Despite the Cincinnati Fire Department’s efforts to perform life-saving procedures, Nuby was declared dead at the scene, according to the police statement.
Investigations are underway to determine whether excessive speed and impairment were factors in the incident. It was noted that Nuby was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
