YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s 31st Annual MLK Holiday Celebration
- Where: Charlotte Convention Center (501 S. College Street) – Crown Ballroom
- Time: Doors open at 7:15 a.m., event begins at 8 a.m.
National Day of Service: Revolution Park and Sports Cleanup
- “MLK Jr. Day is a time to give back to your community”
- Where: 1225 Remount Road in Charlotte
- Time: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Harvey B. Gantt Center’s MLK Jr. Day Celebration
- Where: 551 S Tryon Street in Charlotte
- Time: Events start at 9:15 a.m.
- Free Admission
Levine Museum of the New South’s MLK Day Celebration
- Where: One Independence Center (101 North Tryon Street in Charlotte)
- Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kannapolis’s Dream Day Parade/Event
- Where: Parade starts at the intersection of Main Street and MLK Jr. Avenue
- Time: Parade starts at 11 a.m., Dream Day Event starts at 12 p.m.
- Free and open to the public.
Cornelius MLK Jr. Day Program
- Where: Cornelius Town Hall
- Time: 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
