Kelderick J Williams,Linda J Thrasher Obituary, Death;- Two individuals lost their lives, and a third sustained injuries in a collision involving two vehicles in Coosa County.
Alabama State Troopers have identified the deceased as Kelderick J. Williams, 34, from Vestavia Hills, and Linda J. Thrasher, 70, from Oxford. The incident occurred at 5 p.m. on Saturday along U.S. 231, approximately six miles south of Rockford.
According to ALEA Lt. Jeremy Burkett, Williams was operating a BMW 325xi when it was struck by a Nissan Murano driven by 73-year-old James W. Thrasher, also of Oxford. At the time of the accident, Williams was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Linda Thrasher, who was a passenger in the Murano, was transported to Elmore County Hospital in Wetumpka, where she subsequently passed away. James Thrasher was taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, with the extent of his injuries yet to be determined.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
