Larry D Birdine III Obituary, Death; – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified a 19-year-old man from Norman who lost his life earlier this week in a multi-vehicle accident on State Highway 33 in Payne County.
According to an OHP collision report, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a 2012 Ford Fusion was heading east on State Highway 33 near Country Club Road when it veered left of center and collided with a 2024 Ram pickup truck. The driver of the Fusion became trapped inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
OHP officials have confirmed that the deceased individual was Larry D. Birdine III, aged 19, from Norman. The reason for Birdine’s vehicle crossing the center line remains unclear. The driver of the Ram was transported to OU Health in Oklahoma City, where he received treatment for his injuries and was subsequently released.
