Lionardo Hernandez Zarata Obituary, Death; – Detectives have confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot during a rental house party in Monroe County.
According to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, 22-year-old Lionardo Hernandez Zarata from Venezuela succumbed to his injuries after being shot at a residence located on Clover Road in Long Pond.
Further inquiries revealed that the property had been rented for a gathering, with numerous attendees coming and going throughout the event. At some point during the night, a dispute escalated into a gunfire exchange.
Authorities have not yet disclosed whether any charges have been brought in connection with the shooting. Several individuals from Venezuela have previously faced various drug-related charges. The investigation remains active.
